Kid Talk from Julie Earlewine

I never really realized how much Cole was really learning during Sunday school in the nursery. Honestly, I thought all he did was run around like a wild child, play, and eat snacks. Until a few weeks ago when I decided to ask him if he had learned a memory verse from Lesleigh at church. He told me, in his very passionate tone, " Yes Mom! Genesis 1:1 God cweated he heabens and the earbth" Cole translation. He was so proud to recite it to me and I was so moved as a mom to realize that my little sponge of a two year old can grasp lots more than me in his fresh brain. So I need to first of all thank the children worker's for investing in my kid and secondly, start doing it myself. This week...Noah walked with God, Gen. 6:9 and Cole will recite it, but he still prefers Gen. 1:1.
